 - indicates presentation available

Wednesday, 10 October 08:30 – 11:00

A pre-conference workshop organised by the Healthcare Plastics Recycling Council (HPRC), sponsored by Johnson & Johnson

Healthcare Plastics: Challenges and solutions for the recycling of non-infected medical packaging

You are invited

HPRC would like to invite environmental or facility managers of healthcare institutions and clinical staff interested or experienced in recycling plastics to join this interactive, discussion-led workshop. HPRC also welcomes industry representatives from the value chain of plastic: manufacturers of medical devices and resin as well as sorting/recycling companies to add their valuable perspectives to the conversation.

About the workshop

It is estimated that approximately 1 million tons of healthcare plastics are placed into the European market every year - much of this material is clean, high-quality plastic, and is suitable for recycling.

This workshop will provide insights and expertise from European hospitals already addressing plastics recycling. In an interactive session facilitated by HPRC, you will address key issues of successfully recycling non-infected plastics and identify opportunities for further collaboration to enable circular solutions and scaling-up existing success stories.

Register today for CleanMed Europe 2018, and you can sign up for this pre-conference workshop
