Rita Barata Castro joined PMMT as an Architect in 2013. Since 2014 she has been developing intensive research activity and has participated in the development of Friendly Materials since its beginning. In 2017 she became the Friendly Materials Manager and is now the maximum responsible for this product both nationally and internationally.

PMMT Architecture is an architecture firm located in Barcelona and Madrid, with extensive international experience in healthcare architecture, which has been awarded with 21 first prize awards at both national and international competitions. PMMT Architecture pays special attention to the bonds established between Architecture, Economy, Universal Accessibility and Environment, ensuring a professional commitment to both clients and society. PMMT Architecture promotes creativity, innovation and research as essential tools for architecture optimization, progress and improvement. 20% of its staff is exclusively dedicated to research.
