In 2015 the Environment Platform for Healthcare initiated the national Green Deal Heath Care in Holland. This Deal between health sector, national and local government, and many other participants bridges the gap between the legislation approach of the authorities and the stimulation approach for own responsibility for environmental goals. Within three years over 100 health care institutions create there own environmental approach with the certification schema of the “Environment Thermometer Care”. More than 50 local governmental authorities stops enforcement tasks on energy conservation.
